What are my delivery options?

We offer 2 delivery tiers within the UK which are dependent on the size of your order:

Little Thoughts and Photo Thoughts £2.99. Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class post.

Thoughtful Boxes (3+ items qualify as a Thoughtful Box)- £3.99. Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class signed for post so all Thoughtful Boxes must be signed for. 

The cost appropriate to your order will display on your basket page during the checkout.

Sweet Trees are sent out seperately by courier, they do not form part of a Thoughtful Box and there is no delivery charge for them.

When will my order be dispatched?


All items are sent via Royal Mail 1st class post unless otherwise stated. If your order is placed by 2pm we will dispatch your gift the same working day, if it is placed after 2pm it will be dispatched the next working day.  

Sweet Trees are handmade and therefore are sent out by courier within 3-7 working days, they are packaged individually and do not form part of a Thoughtful box.

Can you guarantee next day delivery?

All of our orders are sent via the Royal Mail First Class delivery service unless otherwise stated.

As we all know the Royal Mail First Class service cannot 100% guarantee delivery the next day, but they are pretty reliable! In fact, 97% of their First Class items are delivered the next working day.

Next working day explained:

Delivered Monday – Friday if you place your order Monday – Friday before 2pm.

Deliveries cannot be made on Bank Holidays or Public Holidays.

For some addresses in Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands (including Channel Islands), you may need to allow up to three days for delivery.

Do you offer a corporate gifting service?


Whether you’d like to say a big thank you to a customer or an employee, or you simply want to let loyal customers know you care, we can help you find the perfect gift.

There is no minimum order and we can come up with a range of ideas on request. We can incorporate your product into our Thoughtful Boxes and add branded gift tags if required.

What should I do if I can’t upload my photo?

Images must be in Jpeg format to upload to the site, unfortunately any other format such as Word Documents and PDF's cannot be accepted.

If you experience persistent problems uploading an image, please place your photo order as usual (but without uploading your photo) and then email the photo to us separately.

Can I add my own personal gift message?

We provide you with a suggested message. However, you are of course more than welcome to say whatever you like! The gift message will appear exactly as you type it in the message writing tool.

How will the recipient know who sent their gift?

When you order your gift to be dispatched direct to the recipient, there will be no notification of you as a sender unless you add it when customising your personal gift message. If the recipient contacts us wanting to know who sent the card we will not release this information (we respect your privacy!), however we will offer to pass on any comments via email to the person who ordered the gift.

Will the recipient receive any documents indicating the price of their gift?

No. The only wording within each order will be your own personalised gift message.

How will my gift be packaged?

Every order you place with will be delightfully wrapped as standard – although our packaging is by no means standard!

Your chosen gift will be carefully wrapped in crisp coloured tissue paper, and, where possible, securely sealed in one of our signature boxes.

You can also add your own personal message which will then be placed with your chosen gift.

All of our packaging and shipping materials are suitable for recycling.

What does Letterbox Friendly mean?

All items marked as letterbox friendly when sent individually will fit through a standard size letterbox so they do not need to be signed for.

We class a standard size letterbox as 18cm x 3.5cm.

What does Thoughtful Box Friendly mean?

All items marked as Thoughtful Box friendly when ordered with a minimum of 2 other items will be sent out in a Thoughtful box.

Is it safe to order online?

We use an industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of potentially sensitive information such as your name, address and other critically sensitive information like your credit card details. Information passed between your computer and our website cannot be read in the event that someone else intercepts it. Every time you enter an area of our website that requires sensitive information such as your credit card details, a padlock will appear at the bottom of your screen, indicating that the site is secure. SSL encrypts your credit card number, name, address, phone number and identification number as it travels through the internet. This means that it cannot be read by anyone other than the secure server. Once each payment has been validated and authorisation approved, your card details are deleted. Your card details are not held on the internet.
