Delivery and Returns

What are your delivery charges?

We offer 2 delivery tiers for shipment within the UK which are dependent on the size of your order:

 

1) Little Thoughts and Photo Thoughts - £2.99. Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class post.

 

2) Thoughtful Boxes (3+ items qualify as a Thoughtful Box)- £3.99. Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class signed for post so all Thoughtful Boxes must be signed for.


The cost appropriate to your order will display on your basket page during the checkout.  All orders over £50 are delivered for free within the UK.

 

Sweet Trees, Balloons and 'Send a Bottle' are delivered seperately to any other items ordered and are sent by courier, there is no delivery charge for Sweet Trees or balloons.

 

For International Orders we offer 2 delivery tiers and all parcels are sent with Airsure/Recorded, the tiers are dependent on the size of your order and where in the world it is heading!

 

1) Little Thoughts and Photos Thoughts within Europe - £9.99. Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class with Airsure/Recorded.

 

2) Thoughtful Boxes (3+ items qualify as a Thoughtful Box) within Europe - £13.49 with Airsure/Recorded. Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class. Airsure/Recorded offers the added benefit of being trackable and requires parcels to be signed for. 

 

3) Little Thoughts and Photo Thoughts Rest of the World - £12.99. Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class with Airsure/Recorded.

 

4) Thoughtful Boxes (3+ items qualify as a Thoughtful Box) Rest of the World - £17.49 with Airsure. Delivery is by Royal Mail 1st Class. Airsure/Recorded offers the added benefit of being trackable and requires parcels to be signed for.  

 

 

When will my order be dispatched?

If you place your order by 12pm we will dispatch your order the same working day, if your order is placed after 12pm we will dispatch your order the next working day unless otherwise stated; Sweet Trees are handmade and will be delivered by courier within 3 - 5 working days, Balloons are sent with Special Delivery guaranteed to arrive by 1pm next day.



When will my order arrive?

All of our orders are sent via the Royal Mail First Class delivery service unless otherwise stated; Sweet Trees, balloons and 'Send a Bottle' are sent seperately to any other items ordered.

As we all know Royal Mail cannot 100% guarantee delivery the next day, but they are pretty reliable! In fact, 97% of their First Class items are delivered the next working day.

 

 

What if my order doesn’t arrive?

We cannot take responsibility for delays in delivery by Royal Mail outside of our control including industrial action and subsequent disruption to the service. We endeavor to keep our customers informed so that they are aware of the situation and know when to expect possible delays.

The Royal Mail catagorises a parcel as lost if undelivered after 15 working days. If your parcel has not arrived after 15 working days, we will issue a refund or send your order again, whichever you prefer.

 

 

Returns

We hope that you are delighted with your order. However, if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied, you may return any item in its original condition* for a full refund within 14 working days of delivery. To do so please email us within 7 working days of receipt of the item.

 

 

Defects, incomplete orders, or incorrect delivery

If you are returning the goods owing to defects, incomplete or incorrect delivery we will refund you both the price you paid for your goods (inclusive of the initial delivery charge) and the recorded delivery costs for the return postage from the original delivery point to our distribution centre, please enclose a valid till receipt indicating the return postage costs.

 

 

Other Reasons

If you return items for reasons other than defects in the goods, incomplete orders or incorrect delivery, you will be required to pay for the return of the item to us. Please ensure that the package is wrapped securely and for your protection we recommend that you use a recorded delivery service as we cannot accept liability for goods lost in transit.

Gift Returns

Unfortunately we are only able to process returns and refunds when dealing with the original purchaser of the goods. This is to protect the security interests of the original purchaser. If you are unhappy with your gift, please inform the original purchaser so that they can return the gift to us for a full refund.

Refunds will only be made against the original credit/debit card used.

 

 

Refund Time

We aim to handle your returns within seven working days of receiving the goods. We will make the refund within thirty (30) days of being informed of your request for a refund.

This returns & refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights.

*Original condition means that there are no scratches or marks on the item and the items packaging has not been opened or damaged.
